Any results? Starting at this dosage put me over, and the lower dose bad too. Doc starting me on very low. Bart quint and hensalae. That's all I'm starting with. Could Bart symptoms get better then Lyme or should they both be done at the sme time? Been off antibiotics or a year, except oxy for a week. What o u think?

Why did you stop treatment? Isn't it should be treated until no symptoms?

Bad experience last yeAr, did Iv and orals for years. (2002+) Tried herbals for a year. Not cutting it, just restarted antibiotics again. Always got better on Iv rocephin. Symptom free, did orals for a while, relapsed. Back to antibiotics again.

Are you doing the low dose twice a day? It's supposed to be taken twice a day for our long term therapy, or side effects related to the immune system can develop. Then you won't know if it's the meds making you sick or a herx.

I got better FAST at at higher dose,... I don't know if only low dose a day would work unless you were building up to something. And again, side effects at once-daily dosing. It also has to be taken with something else, or you're practically beggin the bugs to become resistant to these anitbiotics. My doc added just Zithro when I first started because it was all I could handle. Rif and Doxy is better because doxy doesn't cause resistance, but the herxing is pretty tough.

Took it out in 2006. He just wants to see how I handle any, so he gave me low dose. Bart is main for me and m sure so many others. Iv rocephin and Iv zithro put me in remission for mos at a time, but relapsed quick.''

FWIW - I think that those of us that have had Lyme for many years can overcome it (peaceful coexistence) once we get rid of the coinfections (and fungi and heavy metals). Treat the coinfection, then rebuild your immune system and clean up the other messes years of illness and abx have left you with.

Perhaps you could start with the baby dose, and very very slowly build up? I had to dump capsules for a bit to work up to the higher dose. Every 3 days increase just a teeny more.
