I'm still fairly Lyme illiterate but I was just thinking about something. Next Monday I'm going to have blood drawn and have the Igenex testing done.
I just read the threat on mosquitoes spreading Lyme and I recall reading about Bb's ability to suppress the immune system. This got me to thinking that I don't recall having a mosquito bite for a few years now, even though I know I've been bitten. I used to have them all the time.
The other odd thing is this. The past few years when I get sick I know I'm sick, but it isn't like it was in the past. For example, I've had a bouts of tonsillitis, ear infections, sinus infections, but other than being a bit more tired than normal there isn't much else other than the pressure from the bacteria multiplying at the site.
Could this be a symptom of person whos immune system is suppressed enough to not show illness symptoms?
The last time I was in for tonsillitis my doctor noted it was weird that I show up knowing I'm sick but rarely show other symptoms.
I realize I could be barking up the wrong tree here, but the mosquito bytes brought me down this path of thinking.

Your one of the lucky enough to atleast have a strong immune to manifest few symptoms
Compared to other chronic?

That's not always a sign of a strong immune system dong that.
If someone has lots of heavy metals (mercury) the metals can keep the immune system suppressed and thus inflammation suppressed (symptoms)
Most people here who are in remission from Lyme... towards the end of their treatment they experienced their "immune awakening" where they started catching colds, running fevers, feeling awful, etc.
But those are signs of a responding immune system. Simply having no symptoms or never getting "sick" is not necessarily the case.
