I've been waiting weeks for an appt with a LLMD in PA..they called today to move my Nov appt to Monday the 31st. It's a long trek up there for me, but one I'm REALLY looking forward to making. I'm so sick and tired of being sick and tired...Some relief on the way? I certainly hope so.

good for you - start your list of questions.

I always think I will remember - and don't!

keep us posted.

So glad your appt was moved to an earlier date.

In addition to your list of questions, I suggest you compile a "time line" of medical info.

For the first appt, my LLMD in NYC asked for a "time line". You may be surprised at how clearly this shows things for you, too. Try to include all medical items even if they don't seem to be a result of LD.
Ex: antibiotics for sinus infection(s)

Were you aware of other symptoms improving when you had any antibiotics? Like joints feeling better or energy level improving.
Subtle things that may seem unimportant can mean a lot to a LLMD. As a medical detective, everything can have meaning for him or her.

Good luck with your appt.

Don't be too disappointed whenever you get your

Jarosch-Herxeimer anywhere between 4(four days

to 4 weeks or 28days). This will be a sign that

you've begun a possible long haul to health.

Until and when the recent cultivation and

ultimately recognition and most effacacious abx

can be modified to suit you and you're strain

or species.

good luck

Thank you everyone for the encouragement. I am sooo looking forward to feeling better.

When I did have the antibiotics, I was, in fact, improving. My energy level was coming back and I was really excited about that. the dizziness and nausea were going away too. Anyway, most all of that is back and hopefully it will all go away again!

I do understand the herx - I'm actually looking forward to that too, if you can imagine. Looking forward because I know it's all part of getting better!

In the past couple of years, I've had pneumonia, several broken bones (I broke my heel for no apparent reason), paper thin skin that seemed to be getting even thinner has time passed (if that's possible), and loss of muscle mass (I use to lift weights and had some pretty good muscle tone for an old lady). Of course, all that muscle is gone now - I hope I can get some of it back at some point!

Anyway, thanks for the uplift and I'll post back as time goes on...

Wishing everyone progress in their fight
