I just found out I have adrenal fatigue. My doctor said my cortisol is very low. This is probably why I continue to have strong fatigue.

Does anyone else have this? Any advice?

I have Lyme, Babesia Duncani, Bart.

I do. Mine was due to low DHEA levels. I am taking DHEA and Pregnenolone to help get my adrenals functioning again.

I know its due to the multitude of infections ( I have all 3 too) but I think bartonella really messes with my hormones. I have such mood swings and anxiety with Bart. I feel it puts a lot of stress on my adrenals.

The adrenals need salt(sea salt), and when fighting infection many people have a salt deficiency.

Vitamin C also supports the adrenals. I also used pantothetic acid (b-5) to support my adrenal exhaution. All of these things helped my adrenals back to normal functioning.

My husband has been diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue long before we found out he has Lyme.

Things he found especially helpful:

Celtic Sea Salt
Vitamin C (Lots of it!!)
Reading Dr. James L Wilson's book "Adrenal Fatigue"
and taking his supplements for adrenals.
De-stressing as much as possible
Eating better
Avoiding caffeine
Taking time to rest
Getting to bed before 10 pm

There's probably more, but that's a start.
