I've tried looking back on past posts and online but I really don't understand what air hunger is. I've started having strange things happen and I'm not sure what to make of it. Does air hunger happen while you are active or does it just happen for no reason? I've had shotness of breath lately but only while I was doing something. The first I was just putting the Christmas decorations back under the steps for storage. When I was done I sat down and all of a sudden my chest hurt really bad and it hurt to breath. Today while singing in church I had a hard time trying to keep air in and felt a little dizzy and nausous. I've never had air hunger before so I'm wondering if this is it or is it something more? sorry this got so long.
Thanks for your help.

It's always so hard to be putting terms on our symptoms when basically we just know it doesn't feel right.

For me, my air hunger usually happens when I'm still or even sleeping and it will actually wake me up. I don't need to be exerting any energy at all.

With that said, I'm sure it could happen while trying to do things, but with the way I've been feeling recently, I haven't been doing a lot of activity.

It may be something you want to run past your LLMD since he/she would probably be able to make more sense out of it. Air Hunger is usually a symptom of Babesia.

I do get a chest wall pain with it quite often if that is what you are discussing. Good luck and keep us posted.

Cathy
