All kidding aside, it's a sad day when we don't want to go outside anymore or have a dog anymore.

I wish it were different for the people in the UK AND in PA.

I guess we could all move to Antarctica. Then we wouldn't have to worry about Lyme anymore. We might get hypothermia. But at least that's a medical condition that Dr's believe and insurance will cover. [Wink]

I agree with 17hens. It is sad. I used to look at nature in awe. I wanted to spend as much time as possible outside. Now, I look at the grass that lines my sidewalk in fear, scared that a tick might jump on my teenage daughter (the only member of my family who is healthy).
