I used to get canker sores when I ate too many acidic foods...I don't know if that is what you have-but I remember they can be uncomfortable.
Good luck...

I have one too, right now! I seem to get these every few months or so. No idea why, although my guess was that my immune system is so trashed that weird things like this just pop up. My father-in-law had trouble with mouth sores when going through intense chemo (I assumed this too was from immune dysfunction, but was just my guess).

Anyway...I have heard lysine is helpful. I have found DGL to help (deglycyrrhizinated licorice). It is actually meant for indigestion; but, you just suck the tablet, sort of hold it in your mouth over the sore (a bit harder when it's on the tip of your tongue like mine is too, but still possible), it kind of stings, but seems to help it to heal much more quickly.

KANKA is a good product . These can be a sign of a lack of B vitamins , or a lack of folic acid or healthy gut bacteria . B Vits and probiotic made mine go away . I rarely get them now , even if I eat acid foods.

Salty foods can cause it too.

I had those things for 30+ years of my life. Gosh lyme brain in full effect, but there is a toothpaste that you need to switch to that does not have sodium laurel sulfate.

I think that is the ingredient. It is in almost every toothpaste, but pronamel may be the brand that doesn't. Can't remember.

Lysine does help them heal faster, and I agree probiotics are a MUST. Personally, I think the probiotics keep your mouth acid down and this may be why they help.

BUT...since beginning my bioidentical progesterone cream, and taking Phosphatylserine and dessicated adrenal gland for my high cortisol/adrenal fatigue, I have not had a single one!!! That's 4 months!!!

I would get them so big, and they'd hurt so bad for weeks! I would get aches and swollen glands near to where the ulcer was located (inside cheek, on gums, under tongue, on tongue, UGGH).

MAN I am glad that part of my life is over!!!!!
