MDs are not allowed to introduce the subject of rife. But, if you ask, they can share what they may have heard from patients, etc.

Many LL complementary practitioners incorporate RIFE. You might be able to find one near you or through links here:

Bionic 880 links, too. (Not rife but still a much different approach that has been very helpful for some.)

Sylver's book is very detailed. It is not at all just about lyme, though, as is Rosner's book linked above.

The most affordable is the EMEM5, about $450. But it has its limitations (it cannot "sweep") and has a fan that some may find a bit irritating.

Some other models are around $4,000., or more. However, the "best" on the market are probably in some doctors' offices as they can run into the tens of thousands of dollars.

As with most things, the better the machine, the higher the cost. But, even the EMEM5 can make a big impact, as part of a plan.

MDs are not allowed to introduce the subject of rife. MDs are not allowed to use rife (but some other kinds of doctors can).

Thanks for this post, Keebler! Very informative.

You mention that some kinds of doctors (other than MD's) can use a Rife machine. Can you be specific? Chiropractors, osteopaths, naturopaths?

The reason I ask is that I have been going to a biological medicine clinic, and I've also been experimenting with a Rife machine. They've got several naturopaths and chiropractors on staff.

The head of the clinic has been very interested in my experiences with the machine, and I think if she were confident that it was legal for one or more of their practitioners to use, she'd consider getting one.

Thanks!

MD's can't treat with Rife.

Be sure to get Bryan's book.

I have Bryan's book already. Thanks.

My question about what type of doctors can use Rife machines remains unanswered. I've edited my other post for clarity.

alisonnic,

Here are the other kinds of doctors who may be more likely to know about Rife machines.

Laws of licensing & scope of practice vary state by state for professionals in these areas.

In my state, NDs (and maybe L.Ac.s can openly use a rife machine as it's deemed an experimental device). NDs are licensed under a different governing body than MDs - in my state, anyway, and in several others. Licensing is discussed a bit in the thread below.

You might call the governing bodies for the kind of professional you have in mind - to see if they are allowed to use or guide rife treatments.

I do advise never getting rife treatment with anyone who is not ILADS-educated and totally lyme & co. literate.

The well-meaning ND who first treated me with rife was not. It was a disaster, ongoing, because I did not know better at the time and neither did he.

This was before Rosner's book came out, and maybe even before the web (or before I got a computer) so access to information was very limited then.

Also ask at your local support groups.

And ask at the rife discussion links above - both here and at that Yahoo board.

Those in your region (or even out of state) who have good ND or similar experienced with rife might PM you and then you could put your ND in touch with them.

It's a unique combination to find an ILADS-educated LLND (or similar) who also knows and has experience with rife. Putting your ND in touch with others would be nice.

You'd probably want to put the word out if you want to make some professional connection for your ND, though. That way more will see your request.

About cost / benefit. For those professionals who use an EMEM5 machine, for actual machine use in another's office, it's not cost effective for ongoing use. You could save the fees and buy your own. And then pay them for consult.

For those rife machines that cost more and do more, then, it may be more cost effective to pay for use.

You might also contact Rosner himself, he's a very nice guy. I spoke with him a time or two by phone few years ago.

He would surely know who in your area is "in the loop" and may be able to provide introductions - but not necessarily directly.

From the note at his site, what I'm thinking is that maybe if a doctor contacts him, he may be able to put them in touch with other practitioners but not likely be able share other doctors' names with just anyone.
