Morning, was feeling great til Sat, the. Out of the blue, hit with a herx from Bart. Sore soles, calf cramps, by sunday, was feeling good again.

Anyone get to the point of almost done, then get a se back?

Maybe the rifampin is hitting some deep "bugs"?

I'd say focus on the "almost done" part.

I think that "set backs" are pretty normal for lyme recovery. Stay focused on the upward trend more than the day-2-day ups and downs. I never rejoice too much in a good day.

Rifampin can hit some nasties in the head, so maybe that is to be expected.

Hope you feel better soon and DO NOT get discouraged!!!

Morning. Thanks for all the responses. Feeling much better after herx. Still some lingering foot pain though.

Just glad to hear you have "almost" kicked lyme & co.

I've been ill for a long time. I'm not sure exactly what it is but at one time I did have a Lyme diagnosis. In any case, you just have to take it one day at a time. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

Just like one day we woke up & found ourselves ill - one day we can wake up & find ourselves better...

You are not alone.
