For the last year or so I have had headaches on and off, lately one every 2-3 days. But for the last three days I have had a headache building and building, and I can't get rid of it. On top of it, I have been nauseous all night. The last time I felt like this I was 38 weeks pregnant with my son and had PIH (190/110).

I do have high blood pressure which I have been successfully treating for six months with Lisinopril. I'll go down the street to CVS in the morning to check my blood pressure (on the machine there by the pharmacy counter). But if that is normal and the headache continues, I'm not sure what it could be. I guess I'll call the doctor, though she isn't usually much help.

I'm not sure I posted this here looking for specific advice, though any is welcome! My husband is already worried about my worsening health, so I don't want to worry him over a headache.

I hope you do not have babesia. That is exactly what I had in the beginning , headaches and fatigue.Babesia come with the vomiting .

I was able to see an LLMD for several months about a year ago, before I ran out of money. The LLMD did think I had Bart & Babs, so that wouldn't surprise me.

I guess I'm just worried that this current headache (worse than any others and won't go away) is due to something more serious.

Hopefully it will be gone when I wake up and this worry will all be pointless!

Headaches causing nausea are often migraine. When I was having my worst headaches, my LLMD felt that due to the other symptoms I was having, it was Babs.

I'd definitely keep your LLMD informed and hopefully treatment will get this reversed. This is no fun. Good luck.

I have had nausea and severe (I mean severe), continuing headaches from Babs.

Do you think it could be migraines? Can your blood pressure meds cause headaches? If your blood pressure is high, can't that cause headaches?

My guess is it could be one of these things, but you should contact your doctor since the headaches are so severe.

I hope they let us soon for you, I know these kind of headaches are torturous.

Tdtid: Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I don't have an LLMD right now. I can't afford to treat my Lyme, so I'm on my own.

Sammi: I don't think I've ever had a migraine, or if I did, I didn't know that's what it was. I've been on the blood pressure meds for six months now and my headaches actually improved a bit once I started them. So yes, I think my high blood pressure was definitely giving me more headaches.

I am feeling a little bit better this morning. Went to CVS and my blood pressure is 140/90. Not terribly high for me. But I will call the doctor later if the headache gets worse. Thanks everyone!
