I was dx'ed with Lyme by Igenex and have had symptoms of coinfections. Been on various abx regimens and as of two months ago my CD57 was finally up to 77 after being at 57-60 since I was dx'ed.
I'm currently on abx (on two weeks, off a week) and have been feeling better, but the past month especially have been dead tired. I have very little energy and it's that syrupy tired like I remember when I was really sick. Exercising taps me out for a couple hours.
Is this normal, a sign I'm getting better? Anything I can do to help the fatigue?

Why are ABX"S on/off?? does it help more?? I thought when you took them they needed to be consistant.
Is this a LLMD choice??
When were you diagnosed /and when did you get sick...could it be a co-infection creeping up??
Ihad a CD57 in the 70's ,then 140, then 23...Was tired throughout ,more so with last numbers....
Babs seems to be what most think of with tired...but it's all of it with me...the lead suit deal...

My 20 yr. old son just had his first CD57 test after suffering with Lyme for almost a year and a half. How often should a CD57 test be given? After months on IV Rocephin we thought he was better but his CD57 came back at 18 when he relasped. Should he be getting CD57 test more often and are they reliable? Thanks for any info anyone can send my way.

Lots of mixed thoughts on the CD57. Our doc uses it but not regularly. My healthiest son with Lyme is now at a CD57 119 and needs to be 150 ideally before ending treatment along with 3 months of no symptoms.
He took BRM4 to raise his killer T cells which raises the CD57 as the immune system gets stronger.
All of our CD57's dipped down in early treatment and now we are climbing so slowly for youngest and I. I heard there can be a quick jump at the end.

Many of the top Lyme doctors do not run the CD57 test. Personally, I think it is more important to do everything you can to get the best treatment possible.

dex3703, have you had your adrenal and thyroid function tested recently?
