Past weeks have taken 5 drops daily of MC Bar-1 containing Cat's Claw and Sarsaparilla. (There are other herbs in the formula).
My eyes/mouth have been much worse lately.
I think diuretics can make dry eyes worse? I think I am also drinking/urinating more.
It seems most herbs list they are diuretics? Some moreso than others? Does anyone know the least and the most diuretic properties?
I am interested in;
Cat's Claw, Sarsaparilla/Smilax, Burbur, Knotweed, Andrographis ie S. Buhner's herbs and some Cowden.
I have also been drinking Alka Seltzer Gold and/or small amounts of baking soda. These two would not be diuretics would they?
Which begs the question. How - if possible - to counter the diurectics. Any herbs known to do that?
I am thinking about the ASG/BS. Would mean increased salt intake? Alot?

It seems like a lot of them are diuretics. I would increase salt and water.
Also, the herb Licorice Root helps your body to hold onto salt. But check your blood pressure weekly, as it can cause blood pressure to increase. If this happens go off it until the blood pressure is normal, then use the licorice in a smaller dosage and for six days and off one day.

I have to take driver's eye test for renewing license in the next couple of weeks and worried because vision is not up to par due to dryness.
Is it bad to stop banderol and samento for a few days before taking the test?

I have just been educated on Astaxanthin. It's an anti-oxitant and anti-inflammatory properties that passes the brain blood barrier and gets into the eyes. I've been told that it's a must have for Lyme patients.
We just started using it so I don't have personal experience to report but I hope that it may be helpful to you.

I guess you would have to decide if you Lyme symptoms become worse if you stop the herbs.
