So, not only Babesia but also Bartonella seem to be a threat for blood transfusions.

Oh joy! Another problem the IDSA hasn't bothered to address. They are still fighting us about Bartonella being found in ticks.

Maybe the IDSA should be called the WHNCAI...

"We Have No Clue About Infections".

Or CAIS...

"Clueless About Infections Society".
