Has anyone who has been on Rosephin IV had a side effect of feeling very weak and tired. Is there anything to combat this or will it go away?

I've been on Rocephin IV and for the first two weeks it did just the reverse for me. I went from being completely exhausted and could barely talk and walk, to being able to be me again.
My energy was sky high at the time.

Awesome for you. Hope you continue to feel well.

I seem to get that reaction to starting most new medications. I did react that way to Rocephin as well. It got better for me. I recently started Tindamax and slept for four days in a row, only waking up to take more medicine and then back to sleep. If you have any major concerns though, I would contact your doctor or pharmacist.

I started Rocephin IV two weeks ago, and yes, weak and tired. I've just been trying to get extra sleep and force myself to get up and move around some. I think the weak feeling is slowly going away.

I too started Rocephin IV; just starting my 3rd week. Yep, exhausted muscles and tired body- though it does seem that my head (thoughts) have became clearer for the first time in months. The Brain-Fog has finally lifted!!!
Like WendyK, for me it's been sleep. Before Lyme I could function (maybe not great) on 5 hours of sleep per night.
Now, 4yrs into Lyme, my optimum sleep to have less symptoms and a better day is 10 hours. I look at it as my body is fighting a battle, and sleep is like another medicine. Good Luck!!
