My blood sugar has been abnormally high lately and also drops without warning.

Does anyone take chromium to help control their glucose levels?

If so, how much.

Is there anything else that is a natural supplement that helps?

Isn't cinnamon used by some folks? Google it.

I don't know my levels, but I used to feel my blood sugar get low. I was helped a lot by the Primal Blueprint way of eating ... also at www.marksdailyapple.com .... I no longer feel like it gets low, it's much more stable.

I have had the same experience. The best thing for me has been Lyme treatment. When I am feeling better the blood sugar is in control.
When I am not and it is not, the LLMD tells me to use ALAmax CR from XYMOGEN. Not a cheap solution, that's for sure.

What keeps blood sugar stable:

Chromium

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Cinnamon

Limiting carbohydrate intake ~ Paleo diet (see http://paleodiet.com/ for more info) or the Specific Carbohydrate Diet are examples.

Eating a high protein snack every 2 hours between meals.
