When I was in the Air Force I tested positive for TB exposure but was not treated. However, when I was discharged and joined the S.D. Nat'l Guard and they tested me and it was positive, I was given one pill (anti-biotic of some sort, can't remember back to '75) per day for a solid year. 365 days.

As others have mentioned, it is curious that acne, TB and others are treated with a lot of abx, but not Lyme? Things that make you say "hmmmmmm."

When my son was on minocycline, I went to renew his prescription. The pharmacist said, "He must be doing much better.

Me: "Yes, he's starting to."

Pharmacist: "He must like how he's looking."

Me: "Huh?"

Turns out he thought my son was getting minocycline for acne. I asked if it was typical to have a script for so long and at the same dosage. The pharmacist said yes, it was.

Crazy that we have to fight for treatment is right!
