My latest symptom (that I've never had before) has been evening fevers with sweats.

I've been trying to find the culprit for months.

Babesia seemed obvious, but I was on Babesia meds, with little herxing and no change in the fevers.

I thought Ehrlichia/Anaplasma, but Doxy didn't help. (I tried it in various combos.)

I felt I needed a full-on med change, so now I'm on Bicillin and Flagyl. My fevers stopped on the second day, before I'd even had my second shot of Bicillin.

I still don't really know what to think. It could have been Babs, and the Flagyl is hitting it. My C.diff has flared, and that is known to cause fevers. Or it could be anything that is susceptible to penicillin. Does Lyme cause fevers?

It just seems like you need to throw combos at this until you find the right one. I really feel like I've been mucking around for the past year without any good, sustained progress.

Now, I'm feeling great.

But the trial and error of this process is still maddening.
