I have 2 copies C677T and am high risk for blood clots.

Does anyone here treat coagulation with baby aspirin?
If taken with food will it still have blood thinning effects (w.g. Systemic enzymes they say without food)

I am taking coumadin because I did have a blood clot. My doctor said there was a new study out of Italy that claims that aspriin does reduce the risk of blood clots; but its not as good as coumadin or other such blood thinners.

I plan on taking aspirin once I get off coumadin. I hope it works, because blood clots are no fun.

Don't know anything about taking with or without food.

My vascular doctor wants me to take 650mg of aspirin per day, but I have decided that is too much for my stomach. Going to take one adult per day, 325mg.

There are other options for preventing clots that won't destroy your stomach.

Suggest consulting a Naturopathic or Integrative physician for help...

Yes, you can take it with food and still get the clot prevention. It also will protect your stomach some.
