Anyone had success treating parasites with this?

It's about the only thing I have not tried!

I'm listening for this too. I am really anxious to hear people's experiences with this as the claims are remarkable: markedly lowered blood pressure, etc.

From what I understand, you have to get foodgrade or it could have arsenic in it.

I used it for a few years along with a plethora of herbals/alternative treatments. Nothing made a dent except prescription antiparasitic meds and I still can't get rid of parsites but just keep them under control.

I'm seeing an ART practioner and will start a program in a few months of prescription antiparsatics different than what I have been taking. I hope that will finally get rid of them.

I had seen some parasites in the toilet after taking DE.
What kind of parasites do you have, Terry?

It probably depends on the type of parasite... If they are in the intestinal tract, it probably helps.

You have to be careful with it because some is mined near deposits of talc that may have asbestos in it. I don't know if "food grade" assures that it has no asbestos. Try not to breathe the dust from it in.

It's always something, isn't it?

Been taking for over 15 months.. yes.. its has to be food grade DE-. I can say that I feel much better on it than off it! You have to gradually increase up to 3-4 tbsp and not miss any days.. as this will disrupt the cycle in which the parasites cycle as well, meaning it give them a chance to multiply & reproduce. DE also can be used to brush ur teeth, as a facial, and household cleaner as well as for your pets and plants.

Yes..it is wise to inhale dust.. but because this is pure silica form.. meaning it is like crushed crystals.. acutally crushed sea shells. The food grade does not contain any asbestos..

I buy from a local feed & seed supply livestock store. It is MUCH cheaper than online.. $22 for 50lbs.. very cheap.. best of luck..

I have been wanting to try this but am concerned it may produce more kidney stones(major issue right now)... anyone know? We use it on our property to hopefully control ticks.

from others in a detox group I help form.. there are some that it actually had kidney stones dissolve..it got worse before it got better but it did help them pass some. If you ever do DE, make sure u drink ur daily water & go about it very-very slowly..that means increasing ur dose by a tiny bit after you see how ur body responds to it.

others that had problems with kidneys had to do DE very slowly... and some had to stop & deal with kidney issues and then restart again. DE DOES PRODUCE DIE_OFF!! So one needs to listen to body as you increase dose.

Just depends how much you might have to detox as well.. Yes.. its great for pets and to control outside for nasty ticks.

wolfcreekranch.com --has really good info on human use & dose etc.
Good Luck!!

No problem...I have to catch myself with similar errors. Easy to do with neuro Lyme. Thanks for all the great info on this subject.

Lala - I have antibodies to round worms and indeterminate for tapeworm. My lyme doc thinks I might have filarial worms.

If I go off prescription antiparasitics I get severe colon inflammation (the highest according to a Diagnos-techs test) that my ND had ever seen. I can track my eosinophils by my treatment. When I go off, eos goes up, when on treatment it goes to normal. The colon inflammation indicates that they are in the GI tract.

My allergies and gastro symptoms got so much better with treatment but a month or so after going off they start to come back.

TerrK that is because you still have the eggs coming in after the month u get off after a months or so.. just my guess.. but it sounds like the cycle of worms..

I do not have any parasites.. but I can tell you that doing COFFEE ENEMAS has been also a great PLUS!! I actually saw that yucky icky sticky lining sludge from the gut come out with COFFEE ENEMAS!! plus stimualte the liver directly.. which detoxes it from all the medicine & toxins we accumulate..

germanlyme - Do you know what type of kidney stones they had or their urine composition?

Posted by germanlyme (Member # 37586) on :

No... Im sorry .. but I can check and see if I can track them down. I know that one person has kidney issues..she was very toxic though.. so she stopped and then tried it again.. second time was better...

Terry

Agree with germanlyme. Really important to stay on antiparasitics because the eggs are always hatching. You might consider taking antiparasitic herbs and extra cloves when not taking the pharma antiparasitics.

germanlyme and glm - thanks for the advice but I've been on very strong antiparasitics for many months at a time with no breaks.

I do have a methylation problem that makes getting rid of parasites difficult because it depletes BH4. I've been supplementing BH4 thinking that would allow me to get rid of them but it has not.

Hopefully we can get to the core of the problem with ART. The ND that I'm working with said that I need a particular combination of anti-parasitics but can only use that combination after we deal with some other problems.

While it seems that Diatomaceous Earth should work for all GI parasites it didn't work for me. I keep thinking that maybe I'm being re-infected but my doctors don't think that is the case.

Gail - are you completely rid of parasites or are you still treating and if so for how long?

Terry
