Since many lyme patients are gluten-free, if they check for celiac, that test will not be valid.

You would need to "be on" gluten each day for at least a couple of weeks.

Otherwise, there is a DNA / genetic test that does not require on to be on gluten.

If you THINK you are gluten free but still have problems, (since there are slight variations in the lists) be sure to read completely EACH search result for:

You probably are clear of additives but, just to be sure:

yea its the colonoscopy that makes you wanna die, the endoscopy is a peace of cake!

Like Keebler said if you're testing for Celiac make sure you've been eating gluten so the results are accurate. The DNA test is helpful, but also doesn't mean the gene is "active" if you in fact do have the gene....

EnteroLab.com is an alternative to blood testing & biopsy for testing for Celiac and non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity. They also do genetic testing for Celiac & non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity genes.

If you've eaten gluten regularly within the past 6-12 months but are not currently eating gluten, the EnteroLab test is still accurate.

I have no financial connections with EnteroLab.com or the physician who runs it...

My endoscopy was fine, the drugs they give you help you not remember and not care.

Wow, Manybites, thats really scary.

My daughter (age 21) has had such bad stomach issues she can't take much more of it. We go back to the drs today to discuss other options. Getting blood test results today. She has nausea 24/7 and has gotten so bad she is barely out of bed, not eating hardly anything, and very weak.

What does anyone do for the nausea? She has been taking nausea pills but don't seem to do much.
Getting blood test results today
