Nutritionist is recommending these two products which I know are from very reputable companies.....but they are very expensive on a monthly basis with everything else I'm taking.

I'm wondering if I can find cheaper substitutes with possibly similar ingredients?

What products do you recommend that may have some of the same ingredients?

Xymogen: NrF2

Ortho Molecular: Resvoxitrol

Thank you all for your help!

Sorry haven't heard of them before .

Did see something with black pepper in it recently...
I'll go look and see if anything else is in it from the NrF2.

They both sound interesting...What are they supposed to do?????? Build Immune?

I've taken NrF2 for several months along with my usual high dose curcumin. I was looking for anti-inflammatory effects and did not notice a difference so my LLMD said that it was OK to stick with a good brand of curcumin.

My LLMD recommends C3 Curcumin Complex by Designs for Health. I take 4 curcumin per day. You can find it for a good price online. It is far far cheaper than NrF2.

The resvoxitrol is harder. You may have to talk with your nutritionist about that one. Why did she want you to take it? It has many ingredients. There may be one of two that you really need and can buy separately at a lower price than this combination. Sometimes ingredients work better when combined. That's why it may be good to find out why you are taking this.

nonna, thanks for your response.... I think these products are supposed to reduce inflammation and strenghten the immune system

sammy, thanks so much for your advice......I will look into the curcumin complex..... and will discuss the resvoxitrol with the nutritionist.......I really need to try to reduce my supplement costs.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

My daughter took NRF2 for several months. it is expensive; one bottle lasted only a week!

She now takes Brocolli Max that only contains the 230 mg brocolli seed extract (30 mg sulforaphane glucosinolate), Dr. has made. I probably should PM you info if interested. $80/120. It is a little cheaper, but doesn't contain the other ingredients.

There is a Jarrow formula for that online. It should be good. Also Oncoplex is the same ingredients, but also by Xymogen and may also be expensive.

Sorry not more help. When I complained about price, Dr. said it was important.

OK .I knew I saw it before and of course I just started a post ,like 5 minutes ago about this..

Brain FOG , London Style

PROTANDIM++++the NrF2 Synergizer ,on Amazon, and cheaper if you sign up to distribute....I didn't .

Was suggested to me by a man who had a lot of numbness and tingles , low energy and tinitus..

It has several ingredients that I take separately.

Didn't look like real close to your brand..

I swear I wish I could give half the supplements I've tried in the last couple years to others..It's a fortune.....

I could buy a ticket for one of the triplets with what's on my dresser..ARGH!

Sickofsick, thank you for your suggestions.....I have taken oncoplex in the past and I think it was effective but you're right it was just as expensive......I will look into the Jarrow formula.

Nonna, thanks for the info on Protandim I'll look into it.

I know this is an older thread, but hopefully someone can chime in.

I too was told to take nrf2. It's soooooo expensive and I haven't noticed anything. I'm about to run out and really don't want to shell out the bucks again. I'm already taking NAC and some other stuff.

Did anyone have success on the Jarrow BroccoMax???

I tried doing the Nrf2 in its various pieces at one point, using the Jarro BroccoMax as part of it. I really did find the Nrf2 Activator from Xymogen to be better than what I could do from various formulations. It makes me think it's very well made.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yep, I think that's the challenge since what's in it is probably formulated to work together.

I'll probably just continue with nrf2 if I don't hear anything else.
