What is the difference between "cold laser" therapy being used to treat Lyme disease, and the PE-1 therapy with Lumenergetics or/ biophoton with Bionic 880 as used in Germany by Dr. W.?
Is the goal of treatment with cold laser to alleviate symptoms only? Or does it help people attain remission from Lyme? If muscle tested post-cold laser treatment, are people cleared of Lyme?
How are the processes similar, and how are they different?

Totally different. PE-1 is not laser. It's LED.

jlp38- OK. My understanding is pretty basic. I just recently heard of the cold laser treatments, I guess I'm behind the curve.
So, what does the cold laser hope to accomplish for Lyme patients?
Do you have experience with using PE-1 for Lyme?

I have the PE-1 but haven't used it enough yet to comment. There are some good threads here that will give you much better advice than I can give. Search PE-1 or bionic.

I think the cold laser removes inflammation. Thought PE-1 did the same.

I started seeing a holistic chiro in January 2011 as an alternative therapy along with ABX. His web site discussed cold laser and listed lyme as one of many conditions he treated.
see some of the other threads on cold laser.
too keep it short... i use it more for detox and immune support.

The link you posted says the cold laser is to treat the inflammation.
The biophoton treatment (the Bionic and the PE1 are not lasers) is to treat infection. It can also be used to treat pain, but the way I used it was for infection.

Thanks everyone. When my brain gets fatigued and unfocused it's sometimes hard to add 2 + 2. I think I see the difference now. Glad you are all so patient.
