From reading online, these are supposed to be eefctive for killing parasites . A Univ of Maryland Study found pumpkin seeds eated for two weeks killed tapeworms . ( Wish I could post it but can not copy ) .

Anyone tried pumpkin or papaya seeds ? Where do you buy papaya seeds ?

I was taking papaya seeds and taking them from raw papaya until I relized that most papaya is GMO. Whatever your source..make sure it isn't GM

I love pumpkin seeds and still managed to grow worms, so for me, no, they don't work. Maybe as a preventative??? I know they're *supposed* to work ....

GMO- genetically modified = really bad for you

Pumpkin seeds, according to one parasite expert, don't so much kill parasites, but they can help with the expulsion of parasites because the seeds cause the worms to become relaxed and lose their grip on the intestinal wall.

Dr. Oz recommends papaya seeds for parasite prevention (from one of his shows recently)...

I eat pumpkin seeds regularly, in a organic gluten free granola I love, or I grab a mix of them at Whole Foods-

IMO, they don't do much or anything- Need specific parasite herb or pharmacuetical protocol.

Genetically Modified Organisms = GMOs

A/K/A "Frankenfoods"
Those whose genetic makeup have been deliberately altered in the lab for "desirable" properties (most commonly used to make pesticide MAKING plants or Herbicide RESISTANT plants).

Rats fed GMO potatoes developed liver tumors and "blue" testicles. They could not procreate.
About 90% of all American Grown Soy and Feedlot Corn is GMO.

I've never tried papaya seeds but my GI doc once told me to drink a glass of papaya puree every day. He's Indian, said that this is an old folk remedy for GI problems. It was thick so I mixed it with a little pineapple juice. Seemed to help with digestion. I didn't look for parasites!

Maybe I should try this again since I'm having more digestion problems, thanks for reminding me [Smile]

No, they won't get rid of parasites! Good for you maybe, but not for this purpose. (I've worked with clients with parasites for decades and have worked with the world's top parasitologists).

Rumi, could you give us any advice? I have Morgellons and it is internal + external.

I restarted Albenza lately. Had to stop because of tummy pain.

Also took Fenben (animal dewormer) and improved my lesions and the internal stuff moved thru the GI.

My doc didn't have a problem with my taking Fenben but he didn't prescribe it. When I told him I was taking dewormers OTC he just nodded his head and said he knew others doing the same thing.

Please, I am not telling others to run out and buy this. It's just one of a couple things that has helped my Rheumatoid A., fatigue, lesions, and ability to function.
