My DHEA hormone levels keep coming back higher than normal. A.M. Cortisol was in the higher end of normal range. My LLMD ordered an abdominal ultrasound to check for a mass on my adrenals. It showed nothing wrong.
Does anyone know what might be causing my DHEA levels to be high? Apparently I'm not in adrenal fatigue so what gives? Stess? Pituitary disfunction? Are there any other tests I should have my doctor order?

This Dr. always has good information ..... Also interesting is the last sentence: "Also, the number one cause of high DHEA is supplementation. Make sure that you are not on that when being tested."
Perhaps this will help? It's about halfway down the page:
