After several doctors and several labs, my son has tested positive for WA1 thru Labcorp. He doesn't really have too many babesia symptoms, more lyme and/or bart. His bart testing is always negative. Question is: is the babesia testing like lyme in that you may always show a response to it, or, does testing positive on WA1 IGG show current infection?

From page 23 of Burrascano:
"SEROLOGY- Unlike Lyme, Babesia titers can reflect infection status. Thus, persistently positive titers or western blots suggest persistent infection."

I had zero or minimum babesia symptoms until I started treating. Then Babesia rose to the top. It is now my biggest issue.
