this has been goin on for quite some time :
1- buttocks pain and weekness
2-constant urge to urinate
3- urine dribbles out if sudden movements made
4- pain and pressure in prostate area
5-general pain and discomfort in pelvic/hip area
6- spearm has also changed over past few months- its embarrasing but it has become weaker and actually appears to be thick and chunky- no pain or signs of blood present

i have seen a urologist a few years ago with similir symptoms but did nt get many answers other than everything was normal-

i have tested pos on ignx both igg and igm- also poss for babesia- treated both with several high doses of oral antibiotics- i have decided to try out a homeopathic doc in area who claims to be lyme litterate
- are these new and quite alarming syptoms common in this disease? any input to help ease my mind greatly appreciated!!!

Hi big lenny, I remember you from years ago on LN.

Have you treated parasites and toxic metals? Both are usually part of Lyme. Toxic metals tend to accumulate in the reproductive area (gravity).

Hopefully you can find a doctor who is familiar with that. And maybe you can do a search here on both parasites and toxic metals that will help.

Best to you.

I've had all the same symptoms (with the exception of the burning in lower back but I have tailbone pain that comes and goes) I've seen a urologist and my pcp and gastro. The urologist and pcp told me my prostate was not swollen but the gastro thought it was. I was told it was prostatitis but I am currently on antibiotics and had the pains come in the middle of the medication. I was wondering if this is a common in lyme?

Did you ever find out what was the cause of this?

EBreezy, I can't answer your man questions. Sorry.

Recently I sure found a new female symptom that is the first for me. Involving lyme in the nipples, men and women after a recent attached nymph tick.

I can guide you to reading everything you can find from Dr B the LLMD that is no longer seeing patients, but out doing research looking for answers for the masses.

If you don't know who Dr B is, I'll be glad to private message you some info. I just put his full name & lyme & nipple in search engine and got my education.

Let me know if you need some more info.

Hi biglenny I'm a male and have had symptom 2,4,and 5. Symptom 2 went away during treatment, 4 and 5 come and go. As far as 6 is concerned I heard drink more water and that should resolve itself.

I'm still here!! Sorry haven't posted in a while , kids keepin me busy ! Not much symptom wise has changed in a while - I currently stopped all meds due to the fact that I felt they were not beneficial to me ... Next month I have an appt to see dr H in upstate NY area - I am very hopeful that his insight and knowledge can help me- I can't believe this has been a constant battle for the last 15 plus years - I pretty much lost all hope and just accept feeling ill forever
