Hello out there!

I am wondering if anyone has ever noticed any benefit at all in having gone thru chelation?

Usually there are many different toxic metals involved and the symptoms hold true for most of them.

I am sure I would have never gotten rid of Lyme and that the metals would have eventually put me under.

I have never met anyone with Lyme, where toxic metals were not involved. www.klinghardtacademy.com

I hope, Theresa, that you find the answer. Most people ignore it and misinterpret many of the symptoms as Lyme symptoms. Wrong!

Take care.

Nice to meet you, jackie81. Glad you 'don't have them'.

In general:
Toxic metal lab testing that is available today, even challenge testing, is inconclusive in much the same way as lab testing is for Lyme and co-infections and parasites. If a body is not able to release the toxins, they do not show up in tests we have. Symptoms and history helped my doctor to make the diagnosis and determine treatment.

Take care.

Well, I think living in our toxic world and not having the best detox systems sure, but

I've never had an amalgam in my life (nor root canal), and haven't had a vaccination in 40 years,

so heavy metal are not an issue for me really, either.
I did a porphyrin test 3 years ago while testing my daughter, too.

I do use glutathione suppositories which I feel are great for detox.

But if I had high mercury or lead, probably look into DMSA and DMPS.

Although be careful with DMSA- it can lower neutrophils-
I did DMSA with my daughter (fully vaccinated and toxic)
and it released a cascade of bacteria, into PANDAS episode.

Surprise, I envy you (no amalgams or root canals). I had over a dozen amalgams removed 15 years ago, but the material my dentist put in my mouth hurt my teeth, so he put the amalgams back in. Now I would need crowns to remove them.

Detoxing heavy metals is no picnic. But for me, my yeast symptoms have improved and my brain works so much better. Just to get rid of the horrible brain fog I had has been worth it.

To jacky81: I dont want to discourage you , but Im a living example of the lab inaccuracy in case of heavy metals testing.

My LLMD tested my trough Doctors Data for heavy metals using DMSA challenge test and all metals came back within the normal range, so we forgot about that. But every time I did infrared sauna I felt awful. At first I thought that it was a sign of heavy-detoxing, than I read that infra-red makes heavy metals move, but I said to my self- it cant be my case, since I dont have heavy metal toxicity, since my test showed it.

3 years later: I switched into the energetic testing and treatment world and I was shocked. I tested very strongly on heavy metal chelation, especially for lead and since Im doing photons as a treatment- heavy metals poured out of me.

GIGI is right (as usual:)) when your body is not in the detoxing mode it doesnt show in the test.

I think it is similar to Lyme and co-infections antibodies. Only when our immune system is not overpowered by the pathogens, we can have positive antibodies test, eg. Western Blot, however, people who are severely ill will continue to have negative tests.

Dr. B. says in his guidance that at the end of your Lyme treatment you should have positive antibodies test, which will only disappear many years after successful treatment.

Many people start treating Lyme even if they have negative tests, the energetic or ART test can be more accurate for the heavy metals testing. I cant say for sure, maybe there are people that have chronic Lyme and dont have heavy metals toxicity. However, EVERY PERSON that I know who got into remission from chronic Lyme did long term heavy metal chelation.

This is probably one of the most important publications on metal toxicity by Dr. K.

http://www.klinghardtacademy.com/Articles/Mercury-Detoxification-Perpetuating-Factors-Problems-and-Obstacles.html

Written years ago (1999) And not a single thing has changed, except that EMF has also entered as a further obstacle to be overcome.

Please read it carefully.
