I've been battling C Diff for years and always seem to be on Vancomycin.

Recently, I got diagnosed with a sinus infection that has been present for a long time.

My Dr. wants me to take Zithromax for 5 days.

Since I have C Diff, how can I take the Zithromax?

My daughter used to get chronic sinus infections. She had them nearly all the time, all her life until she was 9. She had been on numerous abx for them and none of them ever worked.

Mayo clinic did a study back in 1999 which says that 95% of sinus infections are due to mold. Yet nearly all doctors, hospitals and the Mayo clinic still give out antibiotics for sinus infections. I am baffled by this.

When we first got out of the mold, I was fortunate enough to have a friend who was seeing Dr. K. He suggested a netipot mixture to rid the sinuses of mold and it did wonders for my whole family.

Distilled warm water
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 teaspoon xylitol
(I started adding a drop of GSE after many weeks on this... just to make sure all the mold was taken care of)

Xylitol is antifungal, anti microbial and antibacterial

Sea salt and baking soda are antibacterial.

I also get Xlear from vitacost. It is a nasal spray and works well if I get a mold hit while out.
