Has anyone had Anaplasmosis that was diagnosed long after the initial infection?
I have read the official symptoms from various sources, but I would like some real life feedback from people that have had it.
My father has some kind of unidentified pathogen and some symptoms fit but not all. He has weird rashes, constant cough, achy joints. He is old but these came on suddenly three years ago or so. Doctors are stumped so now it is my turn to figure it out.
I have ruled out Lyme.

My husband had weird rashes, constant cough and joint problems. He had Lyme, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Qfever, Bartonella and on and on.
For him, the constant cough was Babesia.
He has improved greatly with antibiotics and anti-malarials.
I am positive for Ehrlichia and Anaplasma. My symptoms are mainly neuro, with myalgia and fevers.
It's hard to determine which infection causes which symptoms because there is so much overlap.
