So, if anyone read my earlier post, it says that I tested positive for parasites and a bunch of other stuff.
Question for those of you who have treated for parasites--> How long did it take to start feeling improvement in symptoms??
Since I am sure my llmd will prob start treating me when I see him next week, I would like to start becoming somewhat informed of what to expect.
Thank you so much for your time.

I started feeling better very quickly....almost right away. And within a few short weeks, I noticed a HUGE improvement in my symtpoms.... especially with the tingling, buzzing, vibrations, etc.
Good luck with your treatment!

I could feel a big difference in energy levels after the first 2 day round of Biltricide.
Of course I was freaked out when I saw liver flukes.
I'm no where near healed, but on the right path.
Good luck! Thankfully for us, there are several parasite experts on this board.

LAX mom, remind us...you had been on abx treatment for Lyme/babs/bart for a year?

Immediately better after parasite meds. However, I think pill form (prescriptions, compounded and/or pill form herb preparations) and just basic marketing over the years brainwashed me into thinking they were better (not). Yes, they helped, but I feel so much better on salt/c (took about a month or so). It works for me.
The prescription parasite meds are sort of like abx in that they knock the parasite load back, but the salt C is something I can handle every day.

Catgirl- how much salt c? I've been on at least 3g and at times up to 6g a day for this past month.

I take one gram one day (sensitive), then DE the next day (alternate days). I remember Gael saying it took her six months before she saw results. Everyone is different. Slow and steady wins the race.

CD57: yes, I had been on heavy duty abx rotations for Lyme, Babs, Bart, Ehrlichia and Anaplasma for the past year.
Finally, I was on Septra, Zithromax, Bicillin LA shots and 50 other different meds/supps per day. I was getting sicker and sicker.
My thinking is, I had killed off whatever bacteria that needed to be killed off. The rest of the symptoms are now from: parasites, heavy metals, mold, viruses.
In my case I had bacterial infections all along, along with parasites, etc, etc. I had the whole Babushka. (search Gigi's post about the Babushka principle of treatment)
I am mindful that the bacterial infections can come back...but hopefully, once I get the parasites, heavy metals and viruses under control, my immune system will be strong enough to take care of the rest of the bugs.
