I'm having a bad headache (behind eyes and down the back of the neck) and nausea. Is activated charcoal recommended here? I took a lot of parasite herbs yesterday, so thinking it could be die-off.

I usually take activated charcoal when I am having a bad die off reaction. It helps to absorb the toxins and get them out of the body.
It is not recommended to take it close to other medications as it can also absorbs those as well.

Thanks! I take my last dose of meds by 3:30 every day, so I told myself that if I use activated charcoal, it would have to be no earlier that 5:30 (I think most pills get metabolized in under 2 hours).

I took one about an hour ago and I feel some pain reduction. It's nice to know some of these pills do something! It can be so hit-or-miss.

Yeah, I took one ac pill last night and my headache and nausea left in an hour. Would I assume that I was treating die-off? I did some large doses of herbals the previous day (including parasite herbs).

I love activated charcoal...take three pills whenever I start to feel bad. Almost always resolves symptoms in fifteen minutes.

I will never be without it....

How often can you take it? Can it be used every night close to bedtime (well after meals and other meds)? I don't want it to effect absorption of nutrients etc.

Does it bind probiotics? So many questions...

This stuff is pretty good -

http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Schulze-Intestinal-Formula-Laxative/dp/B000SI6C4C

A POWERFUL intestinal cleanse that draws out old fecal matter, toxins, poisons, bacteria, drug residues, mercury and lead A STRONG anti-inflammatory and SOOTHING agent Herbal Ingredients: Flax Seed, Pharmaceutical Grade Bentonite Clay, Apple Pectin, Activated Willow Charcoal, Marshmallow Root, Psyllium Seed, Slippery Elm Bark, Peppermint Leaf, Cayenne Pepper Blend

---

It combines all the good binders in one product. You have to make sure you keep all the dead parasites moving out. That toxic stuff will make you ill.

Also try the #1 Intestinal Cleanse if you bowels aren't moving. (I don't get money from making recommendtions - it's just a good product.)

I find taking extra Magnesium and/orVitC can get "things" moving.

Please explain about A.Charcoal - it binds to things only in the digestive tract?

What about meds/supplements that are long acting?

Like Abx and things like Celebrex? Once out of the digestive track and into the blood, brain etc - their actions are safe from being effected by charcoal?
