Hi
Can you suggest an OTC parasite treatment that seemed to have worked for you?

DanP,

So far I am still looking but have not tried Humaworm yet. I have tried most of the others on iherb though.

Salt/C worked very well but my blood pressure kept creepin up to the point I had to quite. My BP is due to the ABX or the chronic lyme infection but I could not tell my doc that I was doing Salt/C or he would have told me to stop and probably said that was the cause.

I have been off Salt/C for about 6 months now and BP is still elevated and I am taking a prescription for that.

Right now I am doing Mimosa Pudica drops and Now brand Walnut Wormwood along with Diatomatious Earth.

I would like to do some prescriptions but not sure the liver can handle it right now.

All the Best, MattH

I have done Humaworm, Paragone and some others and have never noticed anything?

Dan - Para A tincture (By Marco Pharma). Also Humaworm. Good luck with your treatment. Don't forget to add salt/c.

Larae30 - From what I know, often herbal treatments are not enough. It's necessary to add salt/c. I remember Gael sharing with us that she was on anti-parasitic herbs for 6 months with no results. Then when she started to add salt/c, she said 'all hell broke loose'. I think it's a necessary component to the treatment.

I almost forgot to add.... I think it is also necessary to do coffee enemas. I did them daily for over 6 months and passed parasites every single day.

I find that if I don't do the enemas, they stop expelling.

Parastroy along with salt/c works very well. I also added extra cloves, digestive plant enzymes by Soloray (also antiparasitic) HCL, coconut oil, coconut water, wheatgrass, and or chlorella also good for binding.

I eventually added Hanna Kroeger Wormwood combo with the Parastroy. Visit lymestrategies for more info on salt/c, and they also have a very good e book.

For some reason the salt/c regimen scares me?

Posted by Catgirl (Member # 31149) on :

Larae, it scared me too until I tried it (salt/c). I feel better on it. It's much more gentle on me than the pre made herbal combinations (made me constipated). Some people on this board have ended up in the hospital from them. But we are all different, so whatever works.

The salt/c will help eliminate constipation when taking herbals. If taking Humaworm, they offer an herbal cleanse to take with it.

I never read anyone here posting that they ended up in the hospital from herbals. Maybe I just didn't see the post??

Gael, can salt/c be taken with antibiotics or anti virals? Prescriptions that is.

Posted by glm1111 (Member # 16556) on :

As far as I know, Yes. Best to check with lymestrategies and pose that question. Some folks there are doing both. I believe some on lymenet are doing both as well.

I recently bought the Salt/C e-book- thought it was very compelling. I cannot endorse a personal opinion

for the protocol as I haven't done it, but plan on starting it for a try- I feel I have done a lot of stuff already for parasites,

But don't think they are all gone. Also planning on going off antibiotics end of January.

But the new e-book I liked, although it's expensive.

I like the Parastroy better than Humaworm. I think Humaworm has too many ingredients. Just the green, black walnut hulls, cloves & artemesia can be very effective.

You can try a tincture of those 3. They have alot of brands of that basic combo.

Surprise, did your bart go away finally?

How much salt are people taking? Do you encapsulate or just put in water and swallow? I love the taste of sea salt.

CD57, I am finishing out more Levaquin, prescription over end of January.

I have seen improvements, had a great holiday season (for me.)

It is recommended low and slow with Salt/C- I plan to start at
1/4 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt and 1 gram buffered C for first dose.

Fingers crossed!

Surprise - I've heard it said that it's best to do regular sea salt, not himalayan (can't remember the reason why tho....).

Good luck on this part of your journey. Sending good wishes your way.

Tammy,

Not sure what you mean by "regular" sea salt. I believe sea salt is determined by where it comes from such as the Himalayans or Celtic sea.

Real Salt is mined in Utah from an ancient salt deposit as another example. Celtic sea salt comes from a region in France.
