I've been on Parastroy and Kroeger's wormwood combo for almost 4 months now.

During that time I've had no interest in food. I have no upset stomach, nausea or any kind of digestive issue other than more frequent loose BMs which is a GOOD thing.

I just took a five day break--and my appetite came back.

Went back on Kroeger's three days ago and it's gone.

Wonder why this is and is it just what's supposed to happen? Anyone else experience this?

Hmm, I have no idea but I do know that I am hungry ALL the time and suspect I have a big parasite issue.

I have thought about this and I hope that parasite treatment helps to where I don't feel so hungry all the time.

Maybe you feel less hungry when the parasites are dying and aren't feeding off your food??

ALWAYS check the symptom list for parasites when you're not sure what's going on. Loss of appetite or insatiable appetite are on the list. Inability to gain or lose weight is also on the list. Google parasite symptoms for more info.

Same thing happened with me.

I was always starving prior to taking anti-parasitics.

While on the meds, I had a very light appetite and lost weight.

Once off the meds, my appetite is back and so is the weight.

So, I'm looking forward to my next round of anti-parasitics in a few weeks.

Lax Mom, which anti parasitics were you taking?

Biltricide and then Pyrantel Pamoate. I also lost my appetite when I did a trial run of Humaworm previously.

When I am off of anti-parasitics my appetite is insatiable.

The insatiable appetite occurs because the parasites are eating half your food. That's why it's important to stay on antiparasitics, otherwise they will thrive and the eggs and larva will keep hatching.

gigimac, what you say sounds logical that maybe it's because the parasites are dying.

I get hungry (stomach is empty feeling)and I'm weak because of it, but food has no appeal.

I've started juicing because preparing a salad is too much work for what I get out of it taste wise.

I eat everything put before me if someone else cooks and do get enough calories per day, but it's just not worth the effort to prepare food when I don't care to eat. Everything I prepare is pretty simple and healthy. Dip everything in mayo! lol

I've never had a weight problem and my weight has only dropped about 4 pounds in 4 months.

Being gluten free makes it hard because I've tried every gluten free bread made including local bakeries and don't enjoy any of it.

And on top of it all after being 4 months into it my symptoms are no better.

Parasite infestation is always connected to the underlying toxic heavy metal condition. When parasites are hit, heavy metals are being released from their skin. Loss of appetite is definitely a symptom of heavy metal toxicity, while it can be the extreme the other way around.

I think this is also mentioned in this power point presentation. And once the metals are being released, the fungal die-off also happens and needs to be addressed.

That is one of the reasons early parasite treatment is so important. If you forget that the metal toxicity is part of parasites, you of course will feel no improvement, unless you start detoxing the metals. All neurosymptoms feel the same - whether caused by bacteria, parasites, metals, candida or others.

I have posted tons on this subject.

http://www.klinghardtacademy.com/images/stories/powerpoints/mercury%20presentation.pdf

If you google this subject and include Dr. K.'s name, you will find "loss of appetite" mentioned, always in connection with toxic metals/parasites.
Most other doctors are not aware of this and are therefore missing some important conditions that need to be addressed.

Take care.
