I have done 3 months of humaworm followed by a short course of prescription anti-parasite meds followed by the longer 6 weeks Dr K type parasite treatment.

I have just started parastroy (i have an awful headache since starting) and want to do metal dtox at the same time using dmsa. So should I take the parastroy everyday and the dmsa 100 mg every third night to start? What should I be working up too?

Also want to add salt/c and do another shorter prescription course of meds in 6 weeks or so.

This is the most improvement I have seen in treatment but its a tough road. Lots of sick days. But my neuropathy is 70% better which is so amazing.

Wow, parasite treatment improved your neuropathy?

Yes neuropathy and nerve pain were 2 of my major issues. Both are 70% improved. Fatigue is still an issue but I think it is due to all the meds.

I am experiencing headdaches with the parastroy and dizziness with the dmsa. Have others had these issues?

Not sure if it's a good idea to take dmsa with the Parastroy. If it were me, I would just take the Parastroy for now and see if the headaches and dizziness subside. Glad to hear your improving with antiparasitics.

thanks Gael.
I have read on here to make sure you detox metal while treating parasites? When should I do that? in between parasite treatments?

I agree with Gael. I would just take binders so you don't circulate metals as they are released from the dying parasites.

CD57 - My neuropathy is just about gone from parasite treatment. By far, it was my worst symptoms I suffered with for many years.

Maybe try some chlorella instead and also incorporate some warm water or coffee enemas to get rid of the dying parasites/toxins. Could also help with the dizziness as there is a brain/gut connection and you can relieve some of those symptoms with enemas.

I take Lipo-Health everyday. It has EDTA in it and is a gentle, daily heavy metal removal.
My LLNP says it also helps biofilms.

When I used to take chemet, chlorella and detoxamin I would feel like I was dying.

I agree with Gael. I think that the Parastroy is stronger than the Humaworm & possibly some of the drugs. I started taking modified citrus pectin for metal absorption. Chlorella is good, too.

I don't know if it's a cure or what it's doing since I have been avoiding doing a major metal detox until I get some dental stuff cleared up. I read that the modified citrus pectin is good for mercury absorption & I don't think it pulls it out of dental work.

So - it seems pretty safe. Charcoal is good but it may interfere with other drugs or supplements/minerals. It's good to take if you are having a detox crisis but not as an everyday thing.

I made alot of progress with Parastroy. It's a good product but each person is different.

Another thought is to maybe back up and start the Parastroy at half the dose and work up to full dose gradually and see how you feel.

Thank you all so much for the help. I actually am only on a half dose of the parastroy. I agree it is very strong. I will use all your advice.
Gael I am very excited and interested in your Statement about ILDAS recognizing parasites as the #1 co-infection with lyme disease. I did not know that but believe it to be true as I had a 27" worm come out of me this summer along with many others and I am not a big person.
I know my llmd was taking me seriously but I did not know others were as well. Good to hear.

[Wink] [Wink] [Wink] 27" huh. That was a big sucker. I had some 20 inchers (Measured) and thought they looked gigantic. I am only 5'3 and weigh 120. So glad to hear your LLMD is awake!!

Wow, you beat me! 27"! Mine topped out at 16". Then again, they were segments. Had many of them. Really don't know how big these parasites were intact. Ick, disgusting.

Still, we can crown you the winner!

Keep at it!!

Not all parasites are visible... I didn't see big worms. I did see other things that looked like cotton balls the size of a q-tip. I think I saw a couple of roundworms but not too bad. They weren't huge, though. I think I saw some worms that looked like filarial type worms.

Some of these things can be food fibers, too. It's not always easy to tell. Some worms get digested, as well - so you may not be able to see them properly.

Worm can be located in the lungs, liver, gall bladder, vagina, etc. So, by the time they are excreted - they may not be very noticible.

Protozoa may be microscopic.

FYI -

http://www.jashbotanicals.com/articles/natural_guide_bone_joint_arthritis_3.html#heavymetalconnection

Heavy Metal Connection

Heavy metals are the most dangerous environmental toxins today. Our body does not metabolize heavy metalsthey accumulate in the tissue, and whats more, they participate in the essential body chemistry.

Essential minerals that are so important to us, cannot be absorbed because of the molecular mimicry of heavy metals that produce a replacement action. What happens then?

An overproduction of free radicals or uncontrolled oxidation occurs. High oxidative stress then leads to acidemia (blood disorder) which leads to an anaerobic metabolic mutation of once symbiotic microorganisms.

The bottom line is that the toxic by-products of these pathogenic microbes bring about chronic inflammation, immune system breakdown leading to chronic diseases, arthritis and cancer.

Chronic exposure to metals such as cadmium, which you can find in batteries, color pigments used in paint and plastics, electroplating and galvanizing processes, cigarettes and many other places is one culprit of arthritic symptoms.

Chronic or low levels of exposure to lead or mercury can generate symptoms of arthritis as well. You can find lead in dozens of places such as: plumbing pipes and solder in older houses, drinking water, printing ink, gasoline, fertilizers, cosmetics, hobby paints, hair colorings and even playground dirt.

Both mercury and lead have been linked to the bodys immune system attacking its own cells which can lead to joint disease such as rheumatoid arthritis. The biggest source for mercury is amalgam fillings, but you can also find it in vaccines, thermometers, fish, fungicides and in the mining industry.

Okay i need to clarify my worm was 17" along with another 2-3" segment that broke off. I have a picture with a tape measure beside it and I had to recheck after everyone was so shocked on here and its not 27 it 17. So sorry I had taken my sleeping pill and mistyped. I had tons though and still don't know what they are. So sorry for that.

Anyways, still a little confused as when to detox metals since I was under the impression I was to be doing some kids of anti-parasitic for the long hall. Whats everyone else doing?

Don't worry about the typo.... you still get bragging rights [Wink] . Haha. Anything in the double digits is worthy of boasting, imo.
