Yeast holds metals in its cells, and when it dies the cells break up and the metal circulates in the body.

Gigi has posted often about this problem.
The kidneys filter out some metal, and this is excreted in the urine.

The liver filters out some, and this is excreted in the bile.
The bile helps digest food in the intestines, and when nutrients are absorbed through the intestinal walls, some of the metals are absorbed also.

You can prevent this from happening by taking something that binds to metals in the intestines, so that they are excreted in the stool, instead of being reabsorbed.

Two things come to mind.
Diatomaceous earth is a ground up fossil of miniscule sea animals, which is very absorbant.
It's not expensive and it's easy to mix a couple spoonfuls of it into yogurt or applesauce.

Bentonite clay is also very absorbant, and is used to mop up metals and poisons in the gut.
However, both of these will absorb all the minerals and medicines too, so if you take them for a while, you may become deficient.

You can take them a couple hours after you take medicine or vitamins.

Ask Gigi what the symptoms are when metals are circulating in the body.

Can I take charcot for this too? I mean I believe charcoal is a binder too.

Oh right, I forgot to mention charcoal.

Heh, I took one capsule of charcoal, and then couldn't "go" for three days!

Great advice from Carol! Be sure to supplement with minerals.

If you have any fillings (amalgams) though, you may not be able to remove any metals until you get rid of them (read Gigi's posts).
