I developed Lupus like symptoms from treating parasites. It flares badly, right after i do a parasite remedy. At this time, i'm taking artemisinin, mimosa pudica, freeze dried garlic, and enula...Need help with inflammation.
Any thoughts?

You may want to consider LDN to help dial down your autoimmunity. Check out lowdosenaltrexone.org for more info. It has been a help to me.

Also, for inflammation, I love Boluoke.

Are you sure you are not just herxing? What are some of your symptoms? You might be doing too much at one time?

Hi guys, my symptoms include autoimmune encephalitis, joint swelling rashes, sores in mouth and nose, heart palpitations...the rheumatologist said it's definitely autoimmune in nature. I was on LDN but it was contributing to these flares (in Lyme people it can cause big die offs). One option may be to try malaria medication, doctor said that is used now a days to treat lupus and similar conditions. Just taking a rest now and will regroup and continue.

I am also curious how you would differentiate an auto-immune response from a herx. I don't quite understand.

Also, can someone please explain why LDN would help auto-immune disorders if it boosts the immune system?

I thought auto-immune problems were a result of an over-active immune system. I guess I don't understand something in there.

Maybe it's me, but the symptoms you describe of rashes, joint swelling, sores in mouth and nose etc. are symptomatic of infection(s)

Maybe try some antiparasitic herbs and salt/c to see if any G. I. parasites are present and to get them to exit. The 3 most effective herbs against these parasites are Wormwood, Black Walnut Hull and cloves.

Now it is coming to light that auto immune diseases are caused from too many killer cells but not enough regulatory T-cells to call off the attacks. It is like an army with no brass or intelligence so the attacks are out of control resulting friendly fire.

LDN helps you produce 300% more regulatory T cells. My hashimoto's disease was halted with LDN. My son's type one diabetes is in remission. He was confirmed to have antibodies in 2010 but he has not progressed any further since starting LDN.

He takes only 10 units of insulin a day and weights nearly 200 pounds. Normally his beta cells would be completely destroyed by now and he would be taking at least 60 units. According to research standards a person is in remission if they are only taking 0.5 units of insulin per kg of body weight. That would be 44 units a day. It is miraculous he is doing this well.

Sometimes when you have an active infection LDN will make you herx so badly, it is hard to figure out what is causing what. When I first tried LDN I terrible urinary frequency and thought it was a side effect to the LDN. No matter how low I made the dose, I just couldn't tolerate it.

Then I tested positive for protomyxzoa and once I started treatment and got the load down I was fine with the LDN. Now I am off medication winging it drug free except for the LDN.

Wow! Interesting stuff.

Never had my T-cells tested, but I had NK cells tested twice and at first they were through the roof, the next time they were back in range.

Very cool that you've seen some success on the drug.
Are you implying however that it would be very tricky to use with Lyme?

Also, because it blocks endorphins, does that have any psychological effect?
