I have been on the Salt/C protocol for 3 months, I am currently taking 3 grams of salt/c per day.
Over the last month I have noticed an increase in bowel movements without any signs of diarrhea. Well this morning in just 3 hours I have had 5 BMs. This is definitely feeling over the top and my stomach hurts. Occasionally the stools are long and thin but I see no other signs of possibles parasites.
Is this a symptom of parasites? Or possibly something else? Should I start treating parasites asap? Rx or herbal? Is testing necessary? This is a bit freaky & feeling a jump in anxiety.
I am also taking ABX, Rifampin, Amoxicillin and pulsing Flagyl.
I would sure appreciate any help.

Also, I noticed that in Mark Felt's book on the Salt/C protocol, it says that at the 3 month point you can expect an acute herx.
Could this be from an acute herx?

Sounds familiar... like one of my "good days"
I'm on long term IV, Bactrim and just stopped zith/mepron to switch to hebs, and also pulse Tindamax. I did start Salt/C low dose in January and ramped up to 1/2 tsp twice a day a few weeks back. Plan to get to up to 1 tsp 3x/day.
GI issues and stool consistency fluctuate with treatment changes and killing cycles. Keep records and back off dose for a while if it gets too bad. But it sounds "typical".
good luck

Yes, could def be a herx. Parasites can cause a lot of pain, sorry. Just keep going, this is also a very effective protocol against bb and cysts.
You might also consider adding an antiparasitic herbal cleanse such as Parastroy. Anxiety is also on the list for parasites.
Google parasite symptoms when you want to know what you are experiencing when it comes to parasites. Bottom line is that you are on the right track.
