Back acting up and tired of. Living on muscle relaxants, Advil etc.

Lyme doc has said if I need nerve block, then do it.

Have done six months pt, accupuncture etc.

Suggestions, greatly needed. Thanks in advance. [Smile]

When my back/hip would give me issues I would heat up a fabric rice bag and lay on it. I used it last night for my hip. If it is hot enough the heat over rides the pain. Sorry you are having such issues.

My lower back around the SI joints and my hips were always my number one problem. After avoiding the foods I was allergic to, going gluten free and adding in digestive enzymes the occurrences were much less.

Heat has always made things much worse for me. Laying on a cold pack before bed works great. I noticed a connection between my gut and my back which helped to know how to treat.

I was just talking to my llnd the other day about castor packs. I use them for my liver. And she said how great they are anywhere on the body. I haven't tried it on my back but it may be worth a shot.

What are you treating? This is a babesia symptom - at least it was for me. My back would seize up so bad it made me scream. The best thing for it is a very hot bath but you need to treat the right infection with the right drugs to get rid of it.

Thanks but the pain is from my two cervical disc issues. May need surgery. Still trying pt for a while

Are you taking cholesterol lowering meds? Tagamet, Prilosec? Ambien? all of those exacerbated my back pain....the pain is less without them....you might try taking them out of your regimen if you're taking any....the cholesterol durg and ambien were the ones when omitted i had the most relief....
