After the recent thread on coffee enemas I got motivated to start them up again. I got the disposable enema bags that were recommended.

Usually I feel better after I do them. But yesterday and today I started getting REALLY sick afterwards, maybe a half hour or an hour later. It feels like the onset of the black plague, like acute flu hitting you and stopping you in your tracks.

What could this be? Could it be i made the coffee too strong? I didn't measure it these past few days, just dumped a bunch in the pot.

Or does it have to do with starting on tindemax and biltricide?

I know that after large doses of i.v. glutathione I feel like death-warmed-over....is this the same kind of reaction?

I have Babesia but not lyme.
thanks.

The Gerson therapy is not for everyone. If you have a CBS mutation you are very sensitive to sulfur, which coffee has a lot of. The sulfur and caffeine can send you into over drive and make you sick.

I can't drink coffee much less use it as an enema. I also can't tolerate smoothies made with anything from the cabbage family, like kale or spinach. It makes me very sick.

Also consider: is it organic? Certified and certain? Even if so, IMO, your body is telling you: "Whoa, Nellie!"

There are many other ways to approach your mission beside coffee enemas or even any kind of enema. I don't like the idea that an enema bag is usually of a petroleum product (or rubber that can't be sterilized) or that the equipment can't be sterile.

Many other ways. A good LL ND would know more about all this.

I really like Seven Forests Rhubarb 17. Very gentle, nourishing and effective.

My LLMD told me that the whole point of doing a coffee enema is to get the liver to dump Glutathione into your system. Maybe that's why you feel so poorly.

We're only guessing here, but you might have overwhelmed your body's ability to handle the detox. The bile gets involved too in all the detoxing.

Maybe switch to slower, gentler detox methods. Sweating every 5 days in a FIR portable sauna tent, for example, is working great for my detoxing.

Along with the saunaing, my doctor also recommends that we take 2 scoops of Takesumi activated charcoal daily to detox.

Well if usually you feel better when you do them, maybe it's the tindemax/biltricide. Or maybe you made the coffee too strong. Or a combo of everything. Tindemax and bilt are really strong.

I have done several coffee enemas and had a horrible toxic dump reaction after one. I woke up drenched in sweat and was on the toilet most of the night and thought I was dying. It hasn't happened again, but I haven't done one in a while.
