Can anyone tell me if there is any significance to the finding of "sinus thickening" on my brain MRI? I have my disability hearing next week and am just trying to think of anything in my medical history that may lend more credibility to my claim.

I'll do my own searching both here on Lymenet and on Google, but I thought I'd simultaneously post this here just in case someone can shed some light on it for me.

I have no history of nasal or sinus issues, in fact I never get colds or the flu anymore.

Do a search on Sjogren's .. just a shot in the dark.

MB, it may be due to allergies. Do you have sinus problems in the spring? I'm thinking that you are

developing allergic rhinitis.
Google allergic rhinitis and nasal polyps too.

I used to have very bad seasonal allergies, but when my Lyme symptoms started to really ramp-up (long before I was diagnosed), the allergies completely went away. Connection? Who knows!

And thank you, Lymetoo. I read through a few articles about sjogren's, but have none of the obvious symptoms.
