One of my biggest syptoms is sensitivity in my scalp. It will feel itchy. Then I will scratch and it starts to burn. It is very eerie. Does anyone else have or had these symptoms? What helped?

Yes, I had that something awful when just before I started treatment. I would scratch so hard trying to get rid of the itch that I would get sores.

Also just touching my scalp hurt.

After a few months it just stopped. It is a creepy crawling feeling.

I am assuming the abx stopped it.

Yes. The skin is a major organ of detoxification for the body. Be sure your Liver Support is adequate so you don't overwhelm other systems.

Also be sure to have the very cleanest shampoo possible, free of petroleum ingredients and free of dyes, scents (other than from real mint or actual lemon) etc.

Avalon Organics has some good shampoos.

Candida can also show up in the scalp. Be sure your anti-candida measures are adequate.

And, all kinds of skin irriation can come from various infections and also from some Rx reactions.

You might seek out a LL ND for better suggestions. I know this can be very serious problem and you need a profesional's advice for what can soothe the skin.

A CALENDULA tea or non-oil based gel may be helpful.

CALENDULA gel that is not oily - it won't bring you fashion sense but it can be soothing. Of course, protect your furniture and bed linens:

Yes!!!!!One of my worst issues. After years of treatment it got better after treating parasites.

Keeping ahead of yeast also helps as does gluten free.

Yep and yelp. I scratch like an old dog. Also get bits of grit and sand stuff. I take biotin for hair loss.

Yes!!!!!!! I have been trying to figure this out for a while. It's mostly pain and crawling sensation, no itching.

Some meds and anti-parsitics help it, but it always comes back.

I know that when this symptom is gone all of my other symptoms will be gone. I just know that intuitively.

I've even tried topical Ivermectin.

I don't have lyme, but I do get itchy scalp, crawly feeling, hair loss, flaky scalp.

It goes away with parasite treatment. When ever I stop parasite treatment it comes back. Got to keep on the parasite I guess.
