Just learned about this from another board. Said to help people who are sensitive to adhesives, as in dressings like tegaderm, etc. Have no personal experience with this product, and don't at this point have any problems with adhesives. Just passing on the info, FYI.

Yes, I always use the "Smith & Nephew" brand Skin Prep right before applying the dressing. (Of course allow drying time...)

It helps to protect the skin from irritation with dressing removal and it also helps the dressing to stick well to stay on all week.

This is a must have for people with piccs and ports.
