After 12 yrs of this , my bone and muscle pain is getting really bad especially in my legs and if I do any activity, not during activity but afterwards..
I have been taking aspirin up to 4 a day they help some but beginning to upset my stomach, as most meds do.
I also take curcumin, vit D, mag., omega 3, and a good essential vit/ mineral supplement.
See the PA next month so would like some input as what might help.. tks

I used to use cymbalta 90 mg a day , it was a major relief for pain .
Prior to understanding lyme , i was going to a lot of rheumatologist for help and pain management and i was lucky to find a compassionate doctor who took my pain seriously .

You can use msm in high doses safely and it really helps with pain. I use 10 grams twice a day.
Boy do I know if I miss taking it. I also use curcumin and make sure I take adequate magnesium.

800mg ibuprofen. Its the only thing that takes the edge off enough for me.

If aspirin is having stomach effects, Ibuprofen is not a good idea, as it too affects the stomach lining.

whoa, i can't take aspirin. tears up my stomach something fierce.
when the pain gets so very bad, i take a fourth, just a sliver really, of vicodin. and that's only every few months.

- Even a small dose of anything that contains acetaminophen can make pain worse in the long run. Be certain of all that is in ANYTHING you take. It is included in so many Rx and OTC products. More detail below -
It is also important to know that often pain comes from toxicity overload - and what can be done about that:
