My LLNP is having me try low dose naltrexone for my back pain. Has anyone tried it for joint pain and if so did it help? I am currently waiting on cat scan results, but I'm pretty sure they will be negative.

Also I was wondering why there are times vitamin c seems to help my pain. What is the connection. If this is the case is there a longer lasting alternative?

Low dose naltrexone has helped a lot of people with many things such as pain, sleep and their immune system.

I took it for 6 months and got absolutely no benefit. And I hope you realize that while you are on this drug, no narcotics of any kind can be taken. They will make you sick and will not work.

This includes most kinds of anethesia. If you need to have surgery for any reason, you will have to get off naltrexone for a period of time before that is can happen.

LDN made me feel checked out, dizzy and high. I didn't care if I was in pain or not.

I could only tolerate the stuff for about a week, so in a sense it helped cope with the pain, but I didn't like the method.
