I have waited a long time to make this post. I am in remission.

We are doing two more months of abx and then cleaning up candida and parasites.

Woohoo!! I was almost afraid to say I feel good.

The oxygen I am on is elevation related. When I go to a lower area, I don't need it.

Thank God for my great LLMD. She is the best!

Awesome! I know how much you've been through with your care, and the move, and the higher elevation change, and fires! Nice to hear some good news!

Thank you TF for giving me testimonials from this great LLMD. Otherwise I might not have found her.

You were spot on. Everyone loves her and she knows her stuff.

Hey faithful thanks for posting this, gives me hope.

How long did you treat for?

I treated for 20 months. Started out with another LLMD and changed to current one in Jan 2012. I went on IV late February 2012.

I did a bunch of natural things with the abx, but I give all the credit to the LLMD who knew how to think outside the box. She does follow Burrascano guidelines.

I treated for Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia and Ehrlichia.

So happy for you, Faithful! How long were you on IV? Was it rocephin or more? Sounds like you made a good decision moving on to your new LLMD. Congratulations!

That is good news. Congratulations!

For others like me who are curious -- if you know, how long between the bite and when you started treatment?

I was on Rocephin for 4 months and I crashed on it on the third month. The magic bullet was the IV Clindamycin. Of course orals were changed as symptoms changed.

Looking back, I was sick 10 years before treatment. It was 5 years after I totally crashed until I figured out I must have Lyme with all the tick bites I had gotten. I am pretty sure this started in 2001. We were building a house and got lots of bites.

But I have to say that knowing that Lyme can be dormant for years before showing up, I lived in NY growing up and have been all over the country and lived in Japan for a year. So I can't say for sure when I first got infected.

In 2007 I just stopped overnight rolling in pain and fatigue. That started lots of doctor visits trying to find out what the heck was going on.

In VA we were repeatedly bitten and that is why we moved out of that state.

Before I dropped like a rock, I was running two businesses, one of which was training and breeding horses and working out 4 days a week.

My lower back and knees are damaged from the Lyme and it made an injury from being knocked out by a horse on the ground worse, as my neck now has herniated discs from that little incident. I did end up with a concussion and still can't remember what happened exactly.

So I will have to deal with the back, neck and knee issues but I will build up my muscles around the injuries and I know how to take care of all that.
