Ever since I got sick with lyme and co I have been getting a weird sensation in my arms, fingers, wrists, legs, foot and toes where you know that feeling immediately before your foot falls asleep and you feel pins and needles.....well I get that feeling in my extremities.

It can feel like a hot, cold, pins and needles sensation all in one if that makes any sense. It's like split second numbness too.

Recently, this symptom is getting worse.

Anyone else gets this? What's good to alleviate it and which infection is it attributed to?

YES!!! Mine started about 2 months ago. Sometimes it feels like rain is sprinkling on my arms. I've been treating for 5 months and this is now starting.

Told my LLMD about this last month. He slammed his hand on the counter - he was frustrated, I'm not sure what that meant to me.

This week, the sensation has changed, it's more like a bug crawling on me or a hair hanging on my arm. It's kind of scary!

It's only in my arms and hands.

Anyone else going through this? What causes it? What can we do to make it go away?

Sounds like neuropathy. If you are on flagyl or tinidazole, keep a close watch. It can cause neuropathy.

i think its common all of it...just goes along with the bugs and parasites and nerve problems

I take Flagyl for 3 days on the weekends. Can this really cause this issue?

I have this as well. But I had this before starting treatment. A breeze on my left side feels like rain drops, and my left arm routinely feels asleep.
I attriubted this to lyme.
I pulse tindi one week on, one week off and I don't notice it more during the week on.
My arms and left leg routinely "fall asleep" when I'm sleeping... Lol.
Anyways, I'm glad I'm not the only one.
And thank you for posting about the Tindi/Flagyl. It will be something to watch for-thanks for the head's up

Neuropathy. I thought it was normal. However, when I went to the Neurologist, the EMG/NCS showed nerve damage in my arms and legs.

I never, ever thought I had nerve damage. My only symptom was this tingling/arms falling asleep when I slept. I thought it was normal and that I must have laid on my arms wrong during the night.

Yes, that was a major symptom for me. It improved with treatment, but I sometimes have a little bit of it here and there.

I only wished that would have been the worst symptoms I had. I know its very annoying and can be worse for some people.

Just keep a watch out. 3 days a week is not much.

I have read increasing B vitamins, especially B12, can help.

My pins and needles hop around a lot. It doesn't last long either. It might start in my foot and before too long it will be inching up my leg.

Next thing you know it is gone.

It isn't something that really bothers me much, unless it is when I am trying to go to sleep. I think it keeps me up a lot.

The thing with the bugs crawling...that is weird too. Mine feels like ants. It doesn't last long either.

It doesn't happen everyday either. Sometimes I think it might be a herx. I haven't enough experience to know a herx from symptoms yet.

I am starting to keep a journal. I see no pattern, not yet anyway.
