This is what I had thought, but, was still holding onto hope with my positive Babesia results. Was also hoping that Doctor-prescribed Cryptolepis might make a difference (especially if advised by 'the' NY doctor). My stubborn Babs has had me taking the stuff on a few different occasions (periods of time), now. Those charges -alone- can really add up. [dizzy]

No, as was said above, insurance doesn't cover herbals. But I think that there are cheaper sources for Cryptolepsis than Infuserve. But the other source (Woodland Essence?) has alcohol in it, I am pretty sure.

If you want to get the alcohol out, you can pour hot, almost boiling water over it, and let it sit for a while. That evaporates the alcohol out.
