This is huge. The afternoon crash has been part of my illness since the beginning. My functional hours of the day were 11:00 AM - 2 PM. Maybe a second wind late at night, but that only contributed to my insomnia. I got nothing accomplished. For like 20 years.

I can go for a whole day now. Work days are hard. They wipe me out. But I'm super productive around the house on non-work days.

This is a miracle. I do lie down for herxing, but that's maybe two hours. Then my energy comes right back.

I have an important article to post tomorrow. Going to bed now.

Everyone, just keep treating. It takes forever, but when the improvements come, it is life-changing.

I came here to ask the same exact question!

Haha! Nope, I don't think it's the oil.

Supplement-wise, I am up to 3mg of LDN and I take it with my first meal. It has been a tremendous boost to my energy overall.

I also added a high dose (3 grams/day) of Taurine, which is from the research I'll post tonight. I think it's making a big difference.

And my Babs' load is minimal now, though I'm still treating for it. Babesia has been an exhausting and crashy bug for me.

Babs really impaired my HPA axis, which has been the source of my adrenal fatigue for years.

I think my brain is recovering, so my adrenals are working normally. I can tolerate some carbs now, too. Much better cortisol regulation.

Wow, that's great news. What do you attribute to your success?

Posted by CD57 (Member # 11749) on :

BTW are you taking cortef for adrenals or anything else to strengthen?

No. I gobbled adrenal support for 15 years and my adrenals never improved.

The only thing that's worked for my adrenals is treating my infections.

D-ribose helped my hypothalamus, though.
