I am taking 3000 mg per day Amoxicillin and 500 mg per day of Augmenton. I take vitamin c, vitamin d, 1 million probiotics per day,
Also, magnesium, armour, and I think that is all I am taking.
My tongue feels like I have burnt it on something. Almost everything I eat irritates it so bad I can hardly eat or drink.
It seems to be spreading to the corners of my mouth. Feels like each corner of my mouth has a cold sore forming, cracking and burning and it feels swollen a little, just like a cold sore.
What is this??? Has anyone ever had this before?
Thanks!

Oops, I have also been taking Diflucan every day for about a week, just in case it is yeast. I can't tell it is helping.
I usually take Nystaten daily except when I pull off to take Diflucan.
Did I mention that I am also taking an iron pill?

- It may or may not have anything to do with the Rx. I've had "burning mouth" issues - and not connected to the Rx you mention. And I know that candida was not connected, in my case (as I have no issue with that since not doing any abx).
"Burning mouth" is not uncommon to lyme. It can be from nerve damage - &/or many other factors. Here are some things I found of help, SeaBuckthorn oil to be the best, even with immediate relief.

Vitamin B complex or Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause this.

Razzle is spot on. I had this really really bad. Methyl Protect along w/ additional B's has taken it away.

- The B's suggested might be best in Sublingual form so that mouth tissue can better absorb. But be sure they are gluten free. Some are not.
B-6 and B-12 are often made in sublingual form, however, a full B-complex is usually in a regular pill form. It may be that not all the B's would be good for direct mouth contact, though. -
