In my personal experience, using only Azithromycin is not sufficient to clear bartonella.

The azithromycin seemed to lessen my leg pain but I never did get over the Bart (18 months on Azith). When my liver enzymes got too high I had to quite the antibiotics. For about 5 months it got worse (I was unsure what I could use after the abx.) my lower leg pain and feet sensitivity got worse during that time.
I then started the PhD B herbs and his herbs for Bart. I also added Doug Coil. Two months ago I added Ondamed treatments. That has made the most difference of anything I have done for Bart.
I no longer walk up like I never got to sleep. Not over Bart yet but it seems my bacteria load is much lower. I also can handle much longer Doug Coil sessions without a significant herx. I am alternating Bart and Lyme sessions every other day (three months ago I would only do it twice a week). I have had about 10 Ondamed session and felt better after the first session. I do not think is a stand alone treatment. I take a lot of Hout. and Sida as per PhD B's protocol.
All the Best, MattH

What is PhD B?

Look up the book Healing Lyme on Amazon. It is the author. Check out his website for the protocol for Bart. All the Best, MattH

OH, thanks Matt-but you threw me with the PhD-he is not. I'm not sure what his actual credentials are

You are right! My apologies, not sure what I was thinking. Sorry for the confusion.
